ABB 87TS01I-E GJR2368900R2550 Coupling Device (i.e. 87TS01 coupling module) is used to connect a computer or external system to the PROCONTROL system. The 87TS01I-E module can communicate with the PROCONTROL system through the serial interface (RS232c/RS422) of the process operation station POS, programming diagnosis display system PDDS, control diagnosis station CDS or other computers, covering the entire PROCONTROL system.
Function & Features
- Dual serial interfaces: The 87TS01I-E supports RS232c or RS422 protocols and can be connected to a process operation station (POS), a programming diagnostic display system (PDDS), a control diagnostic station (CDS) or a third-party computer.
- Redundant power supply: The 87TS01I-E needs to be used with a redundant 24V power supply module (such as 89MS01/R0200 or 89MS02/R0100).
- Transmission check: The 87TS01I-E performs error-free transmission checks on messages received by the station bus.
- Shared memory management: The 87TS01I-E receives shared memory and caches up to 230 messages (addresses 0 to 229). Transmit shared memory, processing up to 200 send messages (addresses 0 to 199).
