Product Description
Honeywell FC-SDO-0424 is a Safe Digital Output Module that provides 4 24V DC/2A safe output channels, supporting driving resistive (such as light bulbs) and inductive (such as solenoid valves) loads, with a total load capacity of 6A.
For inductive loads, each output includes a suppression diode. These outputs (including the suppression diode) are fully tested and can be used in safety-related applications.
Function & Features
During the set Diagnostic Test Interval, the FC-SDO-0424 module automatically detects the following items:
- Output power-off capability: Verify whether the output can be cut off normally.
- Group power-off capability: Forcedly cut off each group (2 channels as a group) of outputs through the secondary power-off means (SMOD).
- Channel crosstalk: Detect interference between output signals.
- Suppression diode function: Ensure that the diode works properly.
Secondary Power Off Means (SMOD):
FC-SDO-0424 directly forces power off through a watchdog or processor, which is not affected by the application logic results, ensuring rapid shutdown in the event of a fault.
