ABB NTMF01 Multi Function Termination Unit

ABB NTMF01 Multifunction Terminal Module (TMF) is primarily used to terminal the two RS-232-C ports of multiple modules. These modules include the IMMFC03 Multifunction Controller, the INICT01 INFI-NET to Computer Transfer Module, the INPPT01 Plant Loop to Plant Loop Transfer Module, and the INPCT01 Plant Loop to Computer Transfer Module. When used to terminal an IMMFC03 module (or redundant IMMFC03 modules), it enables the IMMFC03 module to communicate with a computer, terminal, printer, or sequential events recorder through the serial port.

Fuctions & Features

• NTMF01 can be used for terminal connection of RS-232-C ports of multiple different functional modules, including multi-function controllers, transmission modules, etc.

• NTMF01 can support communication between multiple devices, such as enabling multi-function controllers to communicate with computers, terminals, printers and other devices, and can also provide serial links for control stations.

• NTMF01 can configure any port of the terminal unit as DTE or DCE device mode through dual in-line shunts (Dipshunts), so that multiple computers or terminals can be connected to the terminal.

• NTMF01 has multiple components on one circuit board, such as DB-25 connectors, relays, connector sockets, dual in-line shunts, fuses, light-emitting diodes (LEDs), and quick-connect terminals for power and DC common terminals.
