Product Description
ABB SD823 is a member of ABB SD82x series power supply units (including SD821, SD822, SD823). It is a switch mode power converter suitable for high current power supply (10A). Its core function is to convert AC mains power into 24V DC output, which is suitable for powering AC 800M controller and other industrial equipment.
The output end provides double wiring terminals to facilitate parallel power supply of multiple devices. It supports industrial power grid environment of installation category III and can be applied to non-redundant and redundant systems.
Function&Features
- Adjustable input voltage: select 115V or 230V AC via the front panel switch (factory default is 230V)
- Soft start function: built-in inrush current limiter to reduce power-on shock and avoid tripping.
- High safety level: Class I equipment (when connected to protective ground PE), the primary and secondary circuits are isolated by reinforced insulation to meet SELV (safety extra low voltage) and PELV (protective extra low voltage) application requirements.
- Strong overload and overvoltage protection: Overvoltage category III, can be directly connected to the main TN power grid of installation category III, and can prevent voltage surge shock.
