Product Description
ABB NDCU-51C 64448021 drive control unit, consisting of NAMC-51 board and NIOC-01 board. NMBO-01 is an optional memory backup board. When multiple NIOC boards are connected in daisy chain mode and controlled by an external Modbus device, the bus terminal switch (SW1) on the relevant board needs to be set as required.
However, the system application does not support this daisy chain connection. If the drive units do not have a common ground potential or need to be connected over long distances (> 3m), the NBCI module can be used.

- When cascading NDCU-51C, be sure to set the SW1 terminal resistance correctly, otherwise the communication will be unstable.
- NBCI module must be used in non-shared ground or long distance scenarios (refer to separate manual).
