ABB DP840 3BSE028926R1 Pulse Counter
Product Description
ABB DP840 3BSE028926R1 is an 8-channel pulse counting and frequency measurement module. The module supports pulse counting, frequency/speed measurement (up to 20kHz) and digital input (DI) signal reading functions, and has NAMUR, 12V and 24V interfaces. It is an ideal choice for monitoring pulse signal generating devices such as rotating equipment and flow meters.
Note: DP840 needs to be used with module terminal units TU810V1, TU812V1, TU814V1, TU830V1, TU833.
Function & Features
- 8 independent channels - pulse counting mode (16-bit cumulative counter) / frequency / speed measurement mode (0.5Hz-20kHz range) / digital input (DI) mode - can read standard DI signals
- DP840 module can be used for stand-alone and redundant applications
- DP840 interface can be used for NAMUR, 12 V and 24 V sensor signal levels
- Frequency (speed) measurement range: 0.5 Hz - 20 kHz
