ABB NDPA-02 DDCS/PCMCIA Card Adapter
Product Description
ABB NDPA-02 DDCS/PCMCIA card adapter is mainly used to connect ABB drives (such as the ACS series) to the control system via a DDCS optical fiber channel. The adapter is a PC card (PCMCIA) type and is a PCMCIA card interface for connecting to a personal computer. It can be inserted into a PCMCIA slot or into a PCI slot via a PCI/PCMCIA adapter and has a DDCS (Distributed Drive Communication System) optical channel.
Function & Features
- Interface type: The NDPA-02 card can be directly inserted into the PCMCIA slot of a laptop or industrial computer, and can be installed into the PCI slot of a desktop computer via a PCI-PCMCIA adapter card.
- Communication interface: 1 DDCS fiber channel, supporting ABB DriveBus protocol for drive debugging and monitoring.
- Driver installation requirements: DriveWare SP 0407 must be installed before inserting the NDPA-02 card, otherwise the system may not correctly identify the driver. If the installation order is incorrect, you can reinstall DriveWare SP 0407 to fix the driver problem.
- Operating system: NDPA-02 only supports 32-bit Windows XP (DriveWare SP 0407 driver must be installed). 64-bit systems (such as Windows 7/10 64-bit, Vista 64-bit) are not supported.
