Product Description
RTAC-01 (3ABD64610805) is a pulse encoder interface module designed for ABB ACS 800 series inverters. It is used to provide a connection interface for digital pulse encoders. Pulse encoders can be used when accurate speed or position (angle) feedback is required from the motor shaft. The option package includes the RTAC-01 module, encoder supply voltage selection jumper, two M3×8 mm screws and user manual.
Function & Features
- The RTAC-01 supports the ACS 800 standard application (ASXR7000 and above).
- The RTAC-01 plugs directly into the drive SLOT 1 or SLOT 2 slot and is secured with a retaining clip and two screws. Signals and power are automatically connected via a 38-pin connector.
- The screws ground the I/O cable shield connected to the module and interconnect the GND signal of the module with the RMIO board.
