Product Description
ABB PM866AK01 is the processor unit of 800xA control system, supporting redundant configuration, built-in 133MHz processor + 64MB RAM, the kit includes PM866A CPU, TP830 base, various bus terminators and battery for memory backup, the PU board has microprocessor, memory, real-time clock, LED indicator, initialization button and CompactFlash interface.
The base has two RJ45 Ethernet ports for connecting to the control network and two RJ45 serial ports, one of which is RS-232C port with modem control signal, and the other is used to connect to the configuration tool.
Function & Features
Processor: 133MHz CPU, 64MB RAM, with real-time clock and memory backup battery (4943013-6).
- 2×RJ45 Ethernet port (CN1, CN2): supports redundant communication, used for control network.
- 2×RJ45 serial port (COM3, COM4):
- COM3: RS-232C (with Modem control signal).
- COM4: isolated serial port, used for configuration tool connection.
Expansion bus:
- CEX-Bus (requires BC810/BC820 expansion module).
- ModuleBus (for I/O module connection).
- RCU-Link (redundant control unit communication).
