ABB DSBC173A 3BSE005883R1 is a bus extender for the S100 I/O bus system. It is part of the S100 I/O system and is suitable for the Advant Controller 400 series. The S100 I/O system consists of I/O modules with 4 to 32 channels (depending on the type) placed in the I/O sub-rack. The DSBC173A extender is suitable for distribution boards and user units and can be combined with other protection devices for electrical protection.
Fuctions & Features
- When an overload occurs in a circuit, the current will continue to exceed the rated value. The heating element (usually a bimetallic strip) in the ABB DSBC 173A miniature circuit breaker generates heat due to the thermal effect of the current.
- Equipped with a thermal magnetic trip unit, the electromagnetic release in the circuit breaker can cut off the short-circuit current in time to protect the device from damage caused by the short circuit.
- A range of ampere ratings are available to adapt to different electrical systems.
