ABB CI626A (3BSC980006R213 3BSE005023R1)is the communication interface module of ABB Advant Controller 110 system, which belongs to Advant Fieldbus platform. ABB CI626A has dual-channel redundant design: PR:G-PR:J mode supports full redundant media (dual coaxial cable), PR:B-PR:F mode: partial redundant support (limited to coaxial media). The module has built-in bus management function to reduce the load of the main controller.

Function & Features

• Initial configuration function: When the ABB CI626A is powered up for the first time, the error indicator will light up, but this does not affect the communication interface function. ABB CI626A only indicates that the module is in the initial configuration stage.

• Wide range of address settings: The ABB CI626A supports station address selection in the range of 1 to 79.

• Dedicated slot: To read the station address directly from the thumbwheel switch, the ABB CI626A communication interface needs to be plugged into the second slot of the Advant controller 110 backplane to enable it to communicate on the Advant fieldbus 100 using the correct address.
