ABB SPFCS01 Frequency Counter Module

ABB SPFCS01 is a frequency counter module designed for Harmony racks. The ABB SPFCS01 module is used to receive and count frequency signals from field devices and convert them into digital data for processing and analysis by the control system. The module has two turbine speed channels with a frequency range of 3 to 12.5 KHz. However, it has been replaced by the SPTPS13FCS.Its main Feauress include frequency counting and indirect monitoring of turbine speed by measuring the frequency of the turbine speed channel signal.

Fuctions & Features

• Frequency counting: As a frequency counter module, the main function of ABB SPFCS01 is to count and measure the frequency of the input signal. In this module, the frequency of the signals of the two turbine speed channels can be measured, and the measurement range is 3 to 12.5 KHz.

• Turbine speed monitoring: ABB SPFCS01 can indirectly monitor the turbine speed by measuring the frequency of the turbine speed channel signal, providing data support for the operating status evaluation of related equipment.
