ABB CI920AS 3BDH000690R1 is a PROFIBUS DP-V1 communication interface (CIPBA-Ex) designed for S900 I/O remote systems. It is suitable for installation in hazardous areas Zone 1 and supports the connection of intrinsically safe devices (Zone 0/1/2). The interface uses the PROFIBUS DP-V1 (IEC 61158) protocol to achieve efficient communication between field I/O and control systems, supports redundant power supply and communication, and integrates the coupling function of CAN bus and external PROFIBUS. In addition, CI920AS provides comprehensive diagnostic and parameterization functions through FDT/DTM tools, and supports HART over PROFIBUS protocol extension.

★ Safety certification: CI920AS is ATEX certified and can be used for Zone 1 hazardous area installation.
★ Redundancy support: CI920AS supports dual power supply and PROFIBUS DP-V1 communication redundancy, and achieves line or media redundancy through dual coupling modules.
★ Protocol support: CI920AS supports PROFIBUS DP-V1 (IEC 61158), supports HART over PROFIBUS, and expands device data capabilities. Internal CAN bus is coupled with external PROFIBUS.
★ G3 anti-corrosion coating: All components are corrosion-resistant and suitable for high humidity and high salt spray environments.
