Product Description
The baseplate of the PM856A controller has two RJ45 Ethernet ports (CN1, CN2) for connecting to the control network, and two RJ45 serial ports (COM3, COM4). One of the serial ports (COM3) is an RS-232C port with modem control signals, while the other port (COM4) is isolated and used to connect to the configuration tool.
DIN rail installation/removal is easily accomplished using a unique sliding and locking mechanism. All baseplates are equipped with a unique Ethernet address that provides hardware identification for each CPU. This address can be found on the Ethernet address label included with the TP830 baseplate.
