Product Description
Foxboro FBM233 P0926GX Field Device System Integrator Module (FDSI) provides an Ethernet interface between single- or dual-port field I/O devices and the I/A Series® system.
Each module has a 10/100Mbps copper Ethernet connection and a single RJ-45 connector on the front for docking with dual-port Ethernet devices, and can communicate with 1 or up to 64 external devices by connecting to an Ethernet switch or hub. A pair of modules can be combined to achieve fieldbus module (FBM) level redundancy, with one module acting as a master and the other as a tracker.

- Network transmission: FBM233 supports redundant 10Mbps or 100Mbps Ethernet.
- Device connection: FBM233 can communicate with up to 64 field devices.
- Driver: FBM233 is a general Ethernet hardware module. I/O software drivers can be downloaded from the protocol library. In addition to standard drivers, custom drivers can be developed and dynamically downloaded to the module.
- Configuration: FBM233 can set module ports and XML-based device configuration files through the FDSI configurator.
