ABB IPMON01 Power Monitor Module

ABB IPMON01 is an intelligent power system monitoring module for Symphony Harmony or Infi 90, located in a central power module chassis slot. This module does not provide power but manages the power health of the entire control system cabinet: the ABB IPMON01 comprehensively monitors key parameters such as system bus, external auxiliary power supply, and equipment temperature, and promptly reports and signals any abnormalities.

Function & Features

• Interaction and Testing: The ABB IPMON01 panel is equipped with test points, allowing for the detection of bus voltages (5V, 15V, -15V, 24VDC, etc.) via voltmeter probes (including test points for the system common terminal and I/O common terminal). The module also features a Power Failure Interruption (PFI) reset button to reset the signal when the PFI lockout function is enabled.

• Status and Environmental Monitoring: The ABB IPMON01 includes two rack temperature monitoring inputs, two fan status inputs, power status signals for each power module, and two logic level status inputs (selectable to accept normally open or normally closed contact inputs).

• Alarm and Output Functions: The ABB IPMON01 provides three isolated outputs: bus alarm, power alarm, and I/O alarm; one output for power system status in the Symphony Control Net (Cnet) communication network; and one PFI alarm that can be configured for locked or unlocked modes.
