ABB CI627A 3BSE017457R1 AF100 Communication Interface
Product Description
ABB CI627A 3BSE017457R1 AF100 communication interface is a communication module used in Advant Controller 110 and Advant Controller 160. It is mainly used to realize communication connection and data interaction between devices on the Advant Fieldbus 100 bus, and can participate in the allocation and management of bus master responsibilities. As an independent bus management interface, CI627A is equipped with redundant twisted pair connectors and a built-in modem.
Fuctions & Features
- Redundant media support: PR:G - PR:J configurations provide full redundant media support; PR:B - PR:F configurations provide simplified redundant media support (only on coaxial media, and the maximum cable length difference between any two stations on the bus is 4 meters).
- Independent bus management: CI627A is the master of the AF100 bus, responsible for managing bus communications, and can operate independently without relying on upper-level controllers (such as AC 800M).
- Bus terminal resistors: Terminators must be installed at both ends of the AF100 CI627A bus to avoid signal reflections. Twisted pair or coaxial cable must be properly grounded to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI).
