Product Description
Foxboro FCM10E P0914YM Fieldbus Communication Module is a communication interface that enables fieldbus modules (FBMs) to communicate with I/A Series control stations over a 10 Mbps Ethernet trunk fieldbus.
It converts 10 Mbps Ethernet signals (used by the control station) to 2 Mbps signals (used by the FBMs) and vice versa, and provides electrical isolation between the 10 Mbps Ethernet trunk fieldbus and the 2 Mbps module fieldbus.
Function & Features
- Bandwidth conversion: 10 Mbps Ethernet ↔ 2 Mbps modular fieldbus.
- Foxboro FCM10E Scale: Single module (non-redundant) or dual modules (redundant) can manage up to 30 FBMs. A single Ethernet backbone supports up to 30 pairs of FCM10Es.
- Hardware design: Extruded aluminum, ISA S71.04 compliant.
- Baseboard mounting: Foxboro FCM10E is rack-mountable,supporting up to 8 FBMs/FCMs per baseboard.
