The F2D0-FB-EX4.CG FieldBarrier is an intrinsically safe barrier, designed to connect field devices in hazardous locations (Zone 1/Division 2). It is part of the FieldConnex series and ensures safe operation by translating signals between safe and hazardous areas.

- Intrinsically Safe Outputs: The barrier offers up to 4 outputs that are certified intrinsically safe for Class I, Division 1 environments (FISCO and Entity). You can safely connect devices without igniting hazardous materials.
- Short-Circuit Protection: The current-limited outputs protect both the barrier and connected devices from damage in the event of a short circuit.
- LED Indicators: LED indicators clearly show power status, communication activity, and any errors that may occur.
- Robust Construction: The anodized aluminum housing ensures durability, while the IP67 rating protects against dust and water ingress.
- Compatibility: The barrier supports industry-standard FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1 and PROFIBUS PA communication protocols for field devices.
