AB 1784-KTX Product Introduction

AB 1784-KTX card is mainly used for communication in industrial automation systems.It can act as a node on a DH+or DH-485 network and can be directly connected to a PLC-2/PLC-3 controller.The card also acts as a remote I/O scanner,which can receive and send data to achieve communication and data exchange between devices.

Size:Half-size communication card,compatible with 16-bit ISA/EISA slots,cannot be inserted into 8-bit slots.

Operating Temperature:32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit(-0℃to 60℃).

Storage Temperature:When storing or transporting,the ambient temperature range should be maintained at-40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit(-40℃to 85℃).

Humidity:The non-condensing relative humidity around the card should be between 5%and 95%.

Vibration:Vibration rating is 10 to 60 Hz and displacement is 0.012 inches.

Electrostatic sensitivity:Based on CMOS technology,it is sensitive to electrostatic discharge(ESD).Therefore,standard ESD precautions should be followed when using the card.

Installation and Configuration

Before installing the AB 1784-KTX card,the interrupt settings and base memory address of the card must be configured.In addition,the manufacturer’s shipment should contain a communication card and a user manual for user reference and installation.
