NI PXIE-8840 is an embedded controller for processor-intensive modular instrumentation and data acquisition applications.Here is a detailed introduction.

Processor and Performance

NI PXIE-8840 is equipped with a high-performance processor,providing powerful computing power.Specifically,it may adopt the following processor configurations

Intel Core i5-4400E dual-core processor with a base frequency of 2.7 GHz and a maximum of 3.3 GHz in single-core Turbo Boost mode.

Or use 2.6 GHz or 2.7 GHz dual-core,and 2.6 GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 5700EQ processor.

These processor configurations make NI PXIE-8840 very suitable for processor-intensive applications,which can greatly reduce test time.

Memory and Storage

NI PXIE-8840 also excels in memory and storage

The standard configuration is 4GB(1×4GB DIMM)single-channel 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM,which can be expanded to 8GB to meet the needs of large-scale data processing.

The integrated hard drive provides stable storage space,with 320GB or 250GB of storage capacity depending on the configuration.

3.Interfaces and Connectivity

The NI PXIE-8840 is equipped with a wealth of interfaces to facilitate data transmission and device connection

Two 10/100/1000BASE-TX(Gigabit)Ethernet ports support high-speed network communication.

Two USB 3.0 ports and four USB 2.0 ports support a variety of USB device connections.
