ABB DO880 3BSE028602R1 is a 16-channel 24V digital output module suitable for single-machine or redundant industrial automation systems. DO880 provides 16 current source outputs (maximum 0.5A per channel) to drive solenoid valves, relays and other devices. It supports redundant configuration and meets SIL3 safety level.
Function & Features
- Capacity per channel: 24V DC, maximum continuous current 0.5A. Current limit + over-temperature protection to prevent abnormal load damage to the module.
- EMC design: Built-in electromagnetic compatibility protection components to suppress inductive load interference (such as relay coils).
- Loop monitoring: DO880 detects short-circuit and open-circuit loads, and the threshold is configurable.
- No pulse diagnosis: DO880 detects the switch state without triggering the output.
- Degraded mode (PR:G version): DO880 supports fault-tolerant operation of normally energized channels.
