Product Description
ABB RDCU-02C is a drive control unit designed for the ACS 800 series inverters/IGBT power modules. It is responsible for motor drive control, signal processing, and communication management. The RDCU-02C supports jumper configuration and features wiring specifications and power management mechanisms, enabling it to work with devices such as inverters (or IGBT power modules).
Note: Fiber optic cables require careful handling,When plugging or unplugging, hold the connector rather than the cable itself, and do not touch the end of the fiber optic cable with your bare hands.
Function & Features
- Hardware Configuration Jumper Settings (J1): The ABB RDCU-02C can be adjusted directly using long-nose pliers or tweezers, supporting multiple control modes (such as local/remote operation).
- Digital/Analog I/O: The ABB RDCU-02C supports multiple digital input/output (DI/DO) channels and optional analog input/output (AI/AO).
- PPCS Fiber Link: The ABB RDCU-02C connects to the inverter/IGBT module's AINT board (connector V57/V68). Maximum distance: 10 meters (Plastic Optical Fiber).
- Wiring Guidelines: The I/O cable shield should be grounded to the cabinet chassis as close to the RDCU-02C as possible. All cable entries must be protected with grommet.
