ABB PM866AK02 redundant processor unit is a key component of the ABB System 800xA distributed control system (DCS), providing computing power and communication capabilities for the system.
The unit is a dual processor module design with a clock frequency of 133MHz and 64MB of memory. It can be configured in redundant mode to ensure that the system can continue to operate even if one of the components fails.
It is suitable for fields such as manufacturing and power generation. The package contains 2 PM866A CPUs, 2 TP830 base boards, 2 TB807 module bus terminators, 1 TK850 CEX bus extension cable, 1 TK851 RCU link cable and 2 batteries for memory backup (4943013-6), but does not include a license.

- Dual CPU hot standby: Equipped with 2 PM866A processors (133MHz/64MB), supporting non-stop switching.
- Full link redundancy: including CPU, CEX-Bus, Ethernet communication and S800 I/O modules to avoid single point failure.
- Ethernet interface: The baseboard is equipped with 2 RJ45 Ethernet ports (CN1, CN2) for connecting to the control network, and built-in redundant Ethernet communication ports.
- Serial interface: 2 RJ45 serial ports (COM3, COM4), of which COM3 is an RS-232C port with modem control signal, and COM4 is an isolated port for connecting to the configuration tool.
