Product Description
ABB DI821 3BSE008550R1 is a digital input module for S800 I/O system. It has 8 digital input channels and can process 230V AC or DC input signals.
The AC input voltage range is 164 to 264V, and the input current is 11mA at 230V AC; the DC input voltage range is 175 to 275V, and the input current is 1.6mA at 220V DC. Each input channel is independently isolated from each other.
Use with MTU:TU811, TU813, TU831, TU839, TU851
Precautions：High voltage inputs require shielded cables to avoid parallel wiring with other low voltage signals.
Fuctions & Features
Input type:
- AC: 164~264V, input current 11mA@230V AC.
- DC: 175~275V, input current 1.6mA@220V DC.
Voltage monitoring:
- Channel 1 monitors channels 2-4, channel 8 monitors channels 5-7.
- When the monitoring voltage is lost, the error input is triggered and the Warning LED is lit. The status can be read through the ModuleBus.
Protection and filtering:
- Built-in electromagnetic protection components (anti-surge/pulse interference).
- Each channel contains a current limiting component to prevent overload damage.
- 6ms analog filtering to eliminate signal jitter.
