Fuction & features
- The VI702 and the older VI701 interface cards can be installed and used together on the same bus (chassis).
- The domain and station number settings for the VI702 are identical to those for the VI701 card, making it suitable for system upgrades and replacements.
- The VI702 complies with the 1000BASE-T transmission standard and uses CAT5e (enhanced Category 5) unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cabling.
- Using RJ45 connectors, the maximum distance between the VI702 and a Layer 2 switch is 100 meters.
