Emerson A6120 is a Case Seismic Vibration Monitor in the CSI 6500 Machine Health Monitoring System.The monitor is a single-slot plug-in module used in conjunction with a seismic sensor to monitor the absolute vibration of the bearing housing and trigger an alarm when the vibration exceeds the limit, thus protecting rotating machinery.
Function & Features
- Although piezoelectric sensors are now widely used in field upgrades, the Emerson A6120 monitor remains backward compatible with traditional electrodynamic (electromagnetic) sensors.
- The Emerson A6120 features remotely selectable limit multiplication and bypass functions, and is equipped with front and rear buffers and proportional output interfaces.
- The Emerson A6120 accurately monitors seismic vibrations of the chassis, measuring vibration velocity (in mm/sec or in/sec).
