Yokogawa SEC401-51 is an ESB Bus Coupler Module, which is used to connect safety control units (such as S2SC70, SSC60, SSC50) and safety node units (such as SNB10D, SNT4). The module needs to be installed in pairs in the seventh and eighth slots of the safety control unit (such as S2SC70, SSC60, SSC50£ series) as an interface component for data transmission in the safety system.

- ESB bus master interface function: SEC401-51 is the ESB bus master, the communication hub between the safety control unit and the safety node unit, and manages up to 9 safety node units (such as SNB10D/SNT4 series).
- Model and suffix code description:
- SEC401-5: Standard type (non-explosion-proof).
- SEC401-E: Explosion-proof type (please refer to technical documents for selection).
- Suffix options: For example, -1 supports ISA Standard G3.
- Connection and transmission: SEC401-51 can connect up to 9 units (only SNB10D and SNT4 series, where =01, 11, 21); transmission speed 128 Mbps (for I/O module data transmission).
