Product Description
REF615 is a dedicated feeder protection and measurement and control relay in ABB's Relion® 615 series protection and control product series. It is mainly used for the protection, control, measurement and monitoring of overhead lines and cable feeders in public and industrial distribution systems. It supports radial, ring and mesh distribution networks (including distributed generation scenarios) and is one of the key devices for smart grids and digital substations. It can be used in situations with or without distributed generation, and can also adapt to neutral point ungrounded grids and neutral point resistance or impedance grounded grids.

Overcurrent and ground fault protection: Directional/non-directional overcurrent protection (OC), ground fault protection (EF).
- Ground protection: Multi-frequency Admittance technology is used to improve selectivity.
- Voltage, frequency and power protection: low/overvoltage protection, frequency protection, power direction protection.
- Optional functions: fast fault location (short circuit/ground fault), arc protection (Arc Protection), high speed output (HSO).
