Product Description

ABB SD821 3BSC610037R1 is a power supply unit recommended by ABB for use when the AC 800M controller is connected to an industrial power supply network of Installation Category III. It is available in three units for both non-redundant and redundant applications. The output voltage is a low-noise 24V DC and a green LED on the front panel indicates if the output voltage is OK. The dual connectors on the 24V DC output facilitate connection of multiple devices. In-circuit inrush current limiters provide soft start and prevent fuse tripping or ground fault circuit breaker operation at power-up.

Class I Equipment, (when connected to Protective Earth, (PE)).

  • Over-voltage Category III for connection to primary main TN network of Installation Category III.
  • Protective separation of secondary circuit from primary circuit.
  • Accepted for SELV and PELV applications.
  • The output of the units is protected against over current (current limit) and over voltage (OVP).
