ABB AI830A 3BSE040662R1 is an 8-channel RTD analog input module that uses a three-wire connection method for measuring temperature. It requires all RTDs to be isolated from ground. It can be used with Pt100, Cu10, Ni100, Ni120 and other RTDs or resistance sensors.

ABB AI830A 3BSE040662R1 Analog Input RTD 8 Ch

It can be linearized on the module and convert the temperature to Celsius or Fahrenheit. Each channel can be configured separately. The power frequency filter cycle time can be set through the MainsFreq parameter. Notch filtering can be achieved at the specified frequency (50Hz or 60Hz). It can be directly installed on ABB standard module terminal units (TU810/TU812/TU814/TU830/TU833).

With 8 channels, it supports Pt100, Cu10, Ni100, Ni120 and other thermal resistors and resistance sensors input.

AI830A has a built-in linearization algorithm and directly outputs the temperature value (℃/℉).

3-wire connection: eliminates lead resistance error and improves measurement accuracy.

Each channel of AI830A can set the sensor type and parameters separately.

AI830A monitors the input for open circuit and short circuit, and can also detect whether the sensor is grounded
