This power supply unit converts common AC mains power (120/220/230 VAC) to DC power to power the racks, controllers, I/O modules, and other components of the entire control system. ABB DSSA165's 25A output current (maximum power 600W) can support the operation of a large control station or multiple racks.

Power supply for the chassis: In Advant Master stations, ABB DSSA165 48990001-LY is usually installed in the power slot of the chassis (such as S800 I/O station) to provide power to the entire backplane and all inserted modules.
Supporting maintenance: ABB DSSA165 48990001-LY is paired with a dedicated 10-year preventive maintenance kit PM10YDSSA165-1, which includes original dedicated spare parts for the power supply unit.
Redundant parallel configuration: ABB DSSA165 48990001-LY can be configured in N+1 redundant mode for backup.
