Product Description
Emerson A6220 is a shaft eccentricity vibration monitoring module designed for critical rotating equipment (such as steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors and large hydraulic machinery), which is part of the AMS 6500 Machinery Health Monitoring System. The monitor monitors the shaft eccentricity, compares the vibration parameters with the alarm setting value, and can monitor the hardware status, power input, temperature, sensor and cable connection drive alarm and relay action in real time to protect the machinery.
Fuctions & Features
- Dual channel, 3U size, single slot plug-in module, reduces cabinet space requirements by half compared to traditional quad channel 6U size cards.
- Buffered and proportional outputs on both the front and rear ends provide 0/4-20 mA and 0-10 V outputs for easy connection and signal transmission to different devices.
- Can be used with 6422, 6423, 6424 and 6425 displacement sensors, CON XXX drives and key monitoring modules to measure shaft eccentricity. The displacement sensor is non-contact and is installed inside the bearing box or bearing housing. It targets the eccentric ring near the thrust bearing and measures shaft motion related to shaft bending (speed less than 600 rpm.
