Product Description

ABB HPC800K02 is the ABB HPC800 controller kit [redundant version], belonging to the Symphony Plus SD series. It is a process controller based on a 256 MHz, 32-bit Freescale Coldfire processor.

The kit includes: dual controllers (HC800+CP800+MB810), communication modules (CTB810/811) and terminal boards (TER8x0).

It can be configured through the S+ engineering tool, has more than 150 predefined control algorithms or function code libraries, and also supports C programming, batch processing and user-defined function codes.

Note: The redundancy kit must be configured with the S+ Engineering tool, and the soft controller function requires additional authorization.

  • Built-in 150+ predefined algorithm library, compatible with continuous, sequential, batch and advanced control strategies.

Fully redundant architecture

  • CPU, power supply, internal bus, I/O network are fully redundant, and fault switching is uninterrupted.
  • Dedicated redundant communication bus (CW800), peer-to-peer communication update rate <100ms.

Configuration and rapid deployment

  • Online configuration function, supports 8 segmented tasks (minimum cycle 1ms).
  • Soft controller simulation function, can pre-debug control logic on PC.
