YOKAGAWA CP451-50 Processor Module
Product Description
YOKAGAWA CP451-50 processor module is a product launched by Yokogawa Electric (YOKAGAWA). It is the hardware component of the field control unit (FCU), the core of the field control station (FCS) control function. It is used in the field of industrial automation and control systems. It is often used as the central processing unit (CPU) of the CENTUM VP distributed control system (DCS). It can execute control logic, collect field equipment data, manage communications with other system components, and interact with operators.
Fuctions & Features
- Processor: CP451-50 uses VR5432 processor, running at 133 MHz.
- Memory: CP451-50 has a main memory capacity of 32 Mbyte. The memory is protected by a battery when power is off. The main memory battery backup lasts up to 72 hours, and the battery charging time is at least 48 hours.
- Node connection: Each FCU of CP451-50 can connect up to 14 node units (ESB bus node units up to 9), LFS1500 supports 3 nodes by default, and can be expanded to 14 by adding LFS1550 application capacity expansion package.
- Module configuration: Two power modules (PW481, PW482 or PW484) and two processor modules (CP451) are required for dual redundant configuration.
- With status output: The FCU status contact output of CP451-50 has 2 terminals (normally closed NC and common terminal C), the contact is disconnected in case of fault, the contact rating is 30 V DC, maximum 0.3 A, which can be used to monitor module status.
