Product Description
Foxboro FBM237 P0914XS is a 0 to 20 mA output module that includes 8 analog output channels. The output channels are electrically isolated from the other channels and ground, and the module can be used as a single unit or as a redundant pair (two FBM237).

When used as a redundant pair, the field output signal is connected to a common terminal assembly, and each module in the redundant pair can independently maintain the output at a specified value.
Function & Features
- Redundant control architecture: FBM237 (P0914XS) uses AOUTR function block to manage redundant output pairs.
- Automatic switching in case of failure: faulty module output resets to zero, normal module maintains current output.
- Configurable fail-safe action: Hold/Fallback mode, channel-level fail-safe fallback data setting (forced to 0mA).
- Dual protection mechanism: FBM237 prevents "fail high output", bus communication failure delay time is configurable.
