Product Description
Yokogawa VF702 (S1) is a control bus interface card used to connect a computer to Yokogawa's proprietary V-net control network, enabling the computer to function as a node within the V-net network. It is commonly used in Yokogawa's CENTUM series distributed control systems (DCS).
The VF702 is fully compatible with its predecessor, the VF701. Both VF701 and VF702 can coexist on the same V-net control bus. Domain and station number settings are identical to those for the VF701, protecting users' existing investments.
Important Note: This card cannot be installed in a traditional PCI slot.

- Bus Interface: The VF702 (S1) utilizes the PCI Express bus standard, providing higher data transmission bandwidth than older PCI interface cards (such as the VF701).
- Dual-Channel Redundancy: The VF702 (S1) card provides two independent communication channels (BUS 1 and BUS 2), each with its own BNC connector, RCV (receive), and SND (transmit) indicators.
- Network Connection: The VF702 (S1) uses a standard BNC connector and 10BASE-2 coaxial cable (thin cable) for network connection. Connection to the bus network is via a dedicated YCB146 T-connector.
