Product Description
ABB PM802F 3BDH000002R1 is a 4MB base unit belonging to the AC 800F series. The PM802F uses a Super Scalar RISC microprocessor with a computing speed of up to 150 MIPS and 16K internal CPU cache RAM to quickly process large amounts of data. It is mainly used to cyclically scan sensor signals through fieldbus modules, process the signals according to the user program, and send the processed signals to fieldbus actuators.
Fuctions & Features
- Storage and Error Correction: 4MB static RAM memory with error detection and correction, can check 2-bit errors and correct 1-bit errors in 32-bit data words; 4MB Flash-EPROM for storing firmware; and 16 Kbit serial EEPROM for storing hardware configuration.
- Redundant design: Controller redundancy can be achieved by installing two AC 800F. The dedicated redundant communication link of the second Ethernet module ensures that the AC 800F can take over quickly and all inputs and outputs support redundant operation when the main AC 800F fails.
- Communication: There are 4 slots for installing fieldbus modules and 2 slots for installing Ethernet communication modules. The 32-bit data bus bandwidth is up to 100 MBytes/s and supports Ethernet communication based on standard TCP/IP protocol.
- Data protection: Configuration and process data are stored in RAM. The battery on the Ethernet module or battery module supplies power to the RAM to prevent data loss in the event of power failure. At the same time, the battery has a battery watchdog function to monitor the battery status.
