Product Description
The Woodward 5501-380 is a TMR power supply module that provides power for MicroNet digital control systems. The 5501-380 chassis supports single or redundant power supply configurations.
A motherboard on the rear of the chassis allows two 5501-380 modules to form a redundant power system. The modules must be installed in only two specific slots, PA1 (power supply 1) and PA2 (power supply 2). Input power is connected through terminals on the front of the module.
Function & Features
- The Woodward 5501-380 supports both PA1 (Power Supply #1) and PA2 (Power Supply #2) slots, with a dedicated backplane motherboard coordinating the two power supplies for zero-interruption power.
- When redundancy is not required, the 5501-380 can operate on a single power supply. A blanking panel (model 3799-301) should be installed in the unused power supply slot.
- In a redundant configuration, the 5501-380 provides six independently regulated outputs, including two 24 Vdc/12 A outputs, two 5 Vdc/20 A outputs, and two 5 Vdc pre-charge outputs.
