RCU501 is a general-purpose, real-time process control computer designed specifically for various system applications in onshore and offshore installations.
It has an embedded Power PC ™ The processor core of the architecture has been approved for use in Ex Zone 2 applications.
RCU501 can be applied to various systems, including but not limited to dynamic positioning systems, thruster control/steering systems, navigation sensor integrators, integrated process control systems, alarm and monitoring systems, and safety systems.
As a dynamic positioning system controller, it calculates the combined force exerted by the thruster/propeller to keep the ship in the predetermined position.
RCU501 is equipped with a dual Ethernet LAN process network and supports redundant RCU configurations.
It also includes dual remote IO process bus (RBUS), 4 universal digital input channels, and 4 universal digital output channels.
32 serial lines, 2 PROFIBUS channel interfaces, and 2 CANBUS channel interfaces are provided for third-party interfaces.
RCU501 adopts a high level of protection design, which can resist the influence of environmental factors such as water and dust.
