Triconex 8310 Power Module
Product Description
The Triconex 8310 power supply module is a redundant power supply module for the Tricon control system (fault-tolerant safety system). Each chassis is equipped with two modules, located on the left side of the chassis, which can convert the mains power into DC power suitable for all Tricon modules. The terminal block for system grounding, input power and hard-wire alarm is located in the lower left corner of the back panel.
Function&Features
- Each Triconex 8310 chassis is equipped with two power modules, either of which can independently operate the Tricon system at full load and rated temperature.
- The input terminals of the Triconex 8310 are protected by a safety cover and accept three 12-gauge (3.310mm²) wires, namely neutral, hot, and protective earth (chassis ground).
- The Triconex 8310 has an over-temperature sensor that triggers a warning when the internal temperature is above 181°F (83°C).
