EATON SR489-P5-LO-A20-E Detailed Information

The SR489-P5-LO-A20-E relay is a member of Eaton’s SR series and is designed for generator protection.It is suitable for induction or synchronous generators and can operate stably at frequencies of 25,50 or 60 Hz.

Main functions and features

Display and operation interface

The relay is equipped with a 40-character display screen for users to view numerical information,diagnostics and set values.

The front panel contains a numeric keypad,status indicator,numerical up and down keys,RS232 port interface,and control and programming keys(including reset,input,menu,menu up and menu down keys),allowing control without connecting to an external computer.

Input and output configuration

The backplane includes 12 RTD inputs,6 output relays,2 RS485 communication ports,and 4 VT inputs.RTD is field programmable.

The communication port supports ModbusRTU or DNP 3.0 protocols(or both)up to 19200 bps.

Also included are four isolated 4-20 mA analog inputs and outputs,and seven assignable digital inputs.

There are seven CT inputs for three-phase output/three-phase neutral and ground current detection,as well as an independent safety and filter ground.
