DS200FCGDH1B is a gate distribution and status card(FCGD)developed by General Electric for its Mark V series(some say it is the Mark VI series)turbine control system.As a key component in the system,it is responsible for processing and controlling various operations of the turbine.

Technical Features

Interface function:As an interface system for a six-pulse phase-controlled non-reversing bridge,DS200FCGDH1B is able to receive information from a digital signal processing card(DSPC)and decrypt it.At the same time,it can also transmit feedback and diagnostic data.

Signal processing:The board is able to receive multiplexed unit status signals from each bridge leg and decode and de-allocate the unit gating signals of each bridge leg.In addition,it receives the bridge feedback signal,scales it,and then transmits the voltage,frequency,and current status data back to the DSPC board.

System Clock:The DS200FCGDH1B has a system clock register that is used to generate trigger commands and time-stamp feedback values.This 16-bit up counter ends when it reaches the hexadecimal value 0FFFFH and resets to 0.

System Reset:During power-up or hardware reset,the system reset signal sets all registers on the board to the starting settings.

System Heartbeat:The system heartbeat register of the DS200FCGDH1B supports the heartbeat function of electronic components as a periodic signal indicating that the component is still operating.The board-level heartbeat begins counting after the VME host CPU is first written,and at the same time,a green front-board LED labeled IMOK will light up.
