B&R X20BM15 Product Introduction
B&R X20BM15 is the base of the 24 VDC I/O module, supporting EtherCAT, PROFINET and other communication protocols. Its modular design allows users to expand flexibly, realize remote module group connection through the X2X bus, with a maximum communication distance of 100 meters, and supports 253 I/O stations to meet the topological needs of complex industrial scenarios.
Distributed control and expansion capability upgrade
The X20BM15 adopts the concept of distributed control and combines X2X bus technology to achieve high anti-interference communication without a repeater. It supports manual node number allocation and automatic addressing, is compatible with a variety of I/O modules (such as digital quantity, analog quantity, counter, etc.), and supports hot-swappable function to improve the convenience of system maintenance. In addition, the new 5-socket APC910 model of the X20 series expands PC configuration flexibility and further strengthens the system integration capability of the X20BM15.
Deep integration of HART communication technology
B&R LAUNCHES A COMMUNICATION MODULE THAT SUPPORTS THE HART PROTOCOL IN THE X20 SERIES. THROUGH THE COMBINATION OF HART CAT AND REAL-TIME ETHERNET POWERLINK, THE X20BM15 CAN DIRECTLY TRANSFER SENSOR AND OPERATOR DATA TO THE CONTROLLER. This module supports multi-point functions and 5 equipment power supply. Combined with the DTM server in Bergale, it realizes the remote configuration and asset monitoring of HART equipment and improves the operation and maintenance efficiency of industrial instruments.
Application scenario expansion and industry penetration
X20BM15 is widely used in industrial automation, process control, building automation and other fields. For example, in energy management, the status of the instrument is monitored in real time through the HART module; in automobile manufacturing, high-precision equipment collaborative control is achieved in combination with the EtherCAT protocol. Its IP65 protection level and wide temperature adaptability (-20°C to 60°C) are also suitable for harsh environments such as chemical industry and petroleum.
