FBM230 Foxboro is a Field Device System Integrator(FDSI)module produced by Foxboro.The FBM230 Field Device System Integrator module provides a serial interface between single-port field I/O devices and the EcoStruxure™Foxboro™DCS system.It allows a single FBM230 to flexibly connect multiple similar but not identical devices to meet the various needs in the field of industrial automation.

Main Features

Multi-port configuration:The FBM230 has four ports,each of which can be individually configured in software as RS232,RS422 or RS-485 communication interface standards.This flexibility enables the FBM230 to connect to many different types of devices.

Extensive connectivity:Each FBM230 can communicate with up to 64 RS-485 or 4 directly connected RS-232 or RS-422 devices.In addition,up to 2,000 distributed control interfaces(DCIs)can be connected to read or write data from the Foxboro DCS control station connected to the FBM230.

Data Integration:The FBM230 is able to integrate field device data into the Foxboro DCS control database,facilitating centralized management and analysis of data.

Environmental Adaptability:The FBM230 is suitable for G3(harsh)environments and has high reliability and stability.
