Foxboro FCP270 Product Overview

Foxboro FCP270(Field Control Processor 270)is a distributed,optionally fault-tolerant field-mounted controller module.It works with the connected fieldbus module(FBM)to perform regulation,logic,timing and sequential control,while supporting functions such as data acquisition,alarm detection and notification.

Main Features

High Performance and Reliability

FCP270 has high processing power and data processing speed,can quickly respond to various control needs and achieve real-time control.

The unique patented fault-tolerant operation design greatly improves the continuity and stability of the system.The fault-tolerant version consists of two modules running in parallel.When one module fails,the other module can immediately take over the work.

Communication and Connection

Connect to the Foxboro Evo control network via standard fiber optic 100Mbps Ethernet,supporting high-speed data transmission and remote monitoring.

Supports up to 32 200 series FBMs(including compact and standard types),and can also support up to 128 200 series FBMs and up to 64 100 series FBMs through the fieldbus expansion module 100(FEM100).

Environmental adaptability

The rugged die-cast aluminum housing can be installed in a non-ventilated field cabinet and can operate in a G3-level harsh environment.

CE certification ensures product safety and reliability.

Easy to configure and manage

Provides a friendly user interface and configuration tools so that users can easily configure and manage.

Supports remote monitoring and management,allowing users to monitor and manage the system anytime,anywhere.

Scalability

Operating temperature:It can operate normally in the range of 0 to+60 degrees Celsius(+32 to+140 degrees Fahrenheit).

Dimensions and weight:The dimensions are approximately 14.7 cm x 5.15 cm x 11.4 cm,and the weight is approximately 0.6 kg(shipping weight is 1.5 kg).
