A-B 1794-ASB Detailed Introduction

The 1794-ASB adapter is a DIN rail-mounted device with a remote I/O(RIO)communication port for connecting a Flex I/O rack to a RIO-enabled controller.It supports high-speed data transmission and provides flexible configuration options to suit different application requirements.

Features

Remote I/O communication:Remote I/O communication is achieved by connecting the device to the RIO scanner using the Belden 9463 or equivalent cable through the RIO protocol.

Compatibility:Compatible with traditional Allen-Bradley controllers(such as PLC2,PLC3,PLC5 controllers and SLC500 automation platform),and can also be used for modern Logix controller platforms and third-party devices.

Data transmission:Send and receive data to the controller through block transfer read(BTR)and block transfer write(BTW)instructions,and data packets can be sent simultaneously or sequentially according to the required speed.
