Allen-Bradley 1756-RM2 is a ControlLogix redundant module.As an important product in the Allen-Bradley product line,1756-RM2 is widely used in the field of industrial automation.

Main Features

High performance

With a speed of up to 1000 Mbps,it provides optimal scanning performance when paired with 1756-L7x controllers in two chassis.

Supports up to 7 enhanced ControlNet and EtherNet/IP communication modules to meet complex communication needs.

Redundant design

Using redundant fiber optic ports,there is no single point of failure,which improves the reliability and stability of the system.

During channel switching,the processing chassis remain synchronized,and the scanning time may experience a delay of about 10 milliseconds.

Rich protection functions

It has multiple overcurrent protection functions such as instantaneous overcurrent,timed overcurrent,and reverse time overcurrent.

It provides highly sensitive ground fault detection and protection functions to prevent equipment damage caused by ground faults.

It monitors system voltage and provides overvoltage and undervoltage protection to prevent abnormal voltage from affecting equipment.

It monitors system frequency and provides high-frequency and low-frequency protection to ensure stable operation of the system.

Easy to install and maintain

It can be installed in any slot of the ControlLogix chassis,which is easy to install.

The open shell design is easy to maintain and repair.

Other features

It has enhanced safety functions and non-interference diagnostic functions.

It supports 1756-RMC1,1756-RMC3 and 1756-RMC10 cables with lengths of 1m,3m and 10m respectively.

The maximum power consumption is 6W and the heat dissipation is 21 BTU/hour.

When used with the same 1756-RM2 module,the speed may be up to 1000 Mbps;if the A series or B series 1756-RM2 is used at the same time,the speed may be up to 100 Mbps.
