LENEL LNL-1320 Product Overview

LENEL LNL-1320 is provided by Lenel International Systems and is a dual reader interface module designed for import and export control solutions.It supports most access control readers,keyboards or readers with keyboards using standard Wiegand Data1/Data0 or Clock/Data communications,and also supports bidirectional RS-485 Open Supervisory Device Protocol(OSDP).

Power Support

Provides 12 or 24VDC power.

Onboard regulator allows 12VDC readers to use 24VDC power.

Communication Protocol

Supports Data1/Data0,Clock/Data,and Lenel OSDP-compatible RS-485 readers and keyboards.

Multi-branching is possible via RS-485 2-wire or 4-wire communications,and the distance to the ISC(System Intelligent Controller)can be up to 4000 feet(per port).

Card Reader Support

Each DRI supports up to 8 different memory card formats and issuance codes for magnetic and Wiegand card formats.

All readers connected to the DRI support lock,unlock and device code offline access modes.

Input/Output Ports

Includes eight input points that support normal open,close,monitored and non-monitored lines.

Six output relays support breakpoint open or breakpoint close operations.

Wiring

The hardware can be set up through a series of jumpers and 8 DIP switches.

The power cord used must be at least 18AWG cable(twisted pair).

Communication with ISC can be carried out through a two-wire or four-wire RS-485 interface,and at least 24AWG shielded twisted pair should be used for communication.
