HIMA F8621A coprocessor module features its own microprocessor, HD 64180, and operates at a clock frequency of 10 MHz. It primarily includes the following functions:

384 Kbyte static memory, CMOS-RAM, and EPROM on 2 ICs. The RAM is battery-buffered by the power supply monitoring module F 7131.

2 RS 485 interfaces (half-duplex), with galvanic isolation and its own communication processor. Transmission rates (set via software): 300, 600, 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600bps, or takeover of values set on the CU via the DIP switch.

Dual Port RAM for fast memory access to the second central module.

Space requirement: 4 TE.

Operating voltage: 5 V DC, current consumption: 360 mA.
